About Ben
Ben Oakes began working in the green industry 18 years ago. He started out as a laborer with a Landscape company in Lansing Michigan. After attending community college for 2 years he made a career change from Veterinary Medicine to attending Michigan State University for their Landscape Architecture Program. In 2005 he graduated from MSU with his Bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture. Over the past 18 years he has worked in all areas of the green industry, from a laborer to Foremen, sales, nursery and plant management, Landscape Designer to Director of Sales and Design. Having first hand experience from the ground up gives him a unique perspective other companies do not have. Ben is a forward thinker, he sees past the here and now to ensure his designs function for you and your family for years to come!
